DAVID ELLISON JOINS FUSION BUILDING SYSTEMS

David Ellison was recently appointed Head of Sales & Business Development at Fusion Building Systems, the leading manufacturer of offsite light steel frame panelised superstructures in the UK. With over 20 years’ experience in the volumetric modular and loadbearing light steel frame industry, David has an extensive network of contacts and connections to further grow the business at Fusion.

David has become recognised as an industry expert, due to his knowledge with offsite manufacturing and is now advising Fusion clients on the benefits of light steel frame construction, how to enhance cost effectiveness and accelerate the programme of new build schemes.

Mike Fairey, Fusion Building Systems Director said: “I have always admired David’s infectious enthusiasm for offsite construction and his excellent record in business growth through providing the proactive support services required to assist clients on their journey towards the successful adoption of a light steel frame as an optimum MMC solution.

“David will lead our business development team on our quest for significant growth over the next three years. In addition, he will play a key role in the continued expansion of the Fusion Scope of Works, continually looking to improve our DfMA (Designed for Manufacture and Assembly) strategy and the optimisation of our panelised ‘Smart Modular’ approach.”

Fusion Building Systems is an offsite designer, engineer, manufacturer and installer of light steel frame panelised superstructures. Over the last 20 years, Fusion has delivered more light steel residential structures than any other producer in Europe.

Commenting on his new role David said, “There is tremendous knowledge and experience within this team especially if we are brought in at the design and early build stage. I believe we can really help clients to be more cost-effective and efficient with relevant new projects especially around multi-storey apartment blocks used in residential housing or the education sector.”
